Our Story – Winners Church

Winners Church located in Dumfries, Virginia was founded December 12, 2010, under the pastoral guidance and leadership of the senior Pastor Henry Godwin. Then, it was known as the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Winners House, VA. Through this commission, other churches were planted in the Dominican Republic. Souls have been won for Christ, and lives are being transformed. Winners Church has been a great blessing to her community since her inception through the usual annual turkey giveaway, annual back to school (school supplies) giveaway, annual tissue drive, quarterly shelter visits, assisted living homes/community visits, and many more. In addition.

Winners Church has been very involved with mission projects overseas especially in the Dominican Republic by building a water well for a community thereby providing and making clean water accessible to the locals.

Winners Church operating with the mandate of influencing her environs was recognized by the State of Virginia and the house of delegates in year 2022. Winners Church is a place where overcomers are raised, hope is restored, purpose is realized, and potentials maximized. Winners Church is a non-denominational, multi-cultural and community-centered church..... it’s a Home of Empowerment for Transformation!
